This PRODUCT DESCRIPTION relates to the ABCB Codes + Standards service.

By you using this ABCB Codes + Standards service, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions set out herein. The service is supplied by Intertek Inform ABN 14 144 974 087, Level 7, 45 Clarence St, Sydney NSW 2000.

You, the user, are the “Customer”.

1. Service

Intertek Inform will provide you with right to access to ABCB Codes and Australian Standards, subject to the terms herein as well as those in the Terms And Conditions Of Sale as set out at http://www.saiglobal.com/standards/termsandconditions.htm. You acknowledge you have read the Terms And Conditions Of Sale and agree to comply with the terms therein as well as the terms set our below when using the service and /or accessing ABCB Codes and Australian Standards material or documents.

2. Australian Standards

In addition to the terms and conditions set out in the Terms And Conditions Of Sale (and particularly clause 2 therein), you may:

1. make paper reproductions of downloaded standards but such printed versions must be for internal business use only;


2.  download and store electronic copies for temporary off-line uses. You acknowledge that downloaded copies are encoded with a predetermined expiry date, after which they cease to be accessible.

   For reproduction in whole or in part of Australian Standard provided by this Service other than in accordance with the terms of this agreement, prior permission in writing must be obtained from The Copyright Officer, Intertek Inform, Level 7, 45 Clarence St, Sydney NSW 2000.

3. ABCB Codes

The ABCB Codes are published by the Australian Building Code Board (ABCB) and the copyright is held by the Commonwealth, the States, and the Territories of Australia. Apart from use permitted under the Copyright Act 1968, no part may be reproduced without prior written permission. Copyright requests for the ABCB Codes should be sent to The Executive Director, ABCB, GPO Box 9839, Canberra, ACT 2601.

4. Logging out

Automatic Log-out occurs after 15 minutes of inactivity. Users may alternatively log out at any time by selecting Logout above.
